PHASE 1
Zygi Project 1 (2025-2026)
With capacity of 30,000lt, Zygi 1 is the largest algae producing facility in Cyprus currently under construction, focusing on the production of spirulina and chlorella, to be used predominantly in food, supplement and pharmaceutical applications
PHASE 2
Zygi Project 2 (2027)
Increasing capacity to 100,000lt, Zygi Project 2 will not only triple Algcorp’s production of supplement grade spirulina and chlorella, but also achieve significant scale to provide emission filtration and Carbon Capture services to surrounding companies and utilities in Cyprus
PHASE 3
Algcorp Labs (2028)
In partnership with Aligma.io Algcorp will establish Algcorp Labs on Cypriot soil, to further enhance the company’s processing capabilities to higher value Astaxanthin, Phycocyaning and Omega-3 supplements
PHASE 4
Algcorp Marine (2030+)
Algcorp Marine will be the company’s first offshore facility, targeting a 1,000,000lt floating facility off the coast of Zygi, making it the largest facility of its kind in the world
